Philosopher’s Index Abstract

  1. The article determines the indeterministic worlds in time travel1 in which instances of autoinfanticide have a chance of succeeding, sometimes even a high chance.
  2. The relationship between metaphysical possibility and chance is more complicated than expected.
  3. According to the ontologies which deny there is truth about the future, people have to wait and see whether certain attempted infanticides are genuine attempted autoinfanticides.
