Paper Summary

The book is interesting for the “office politics” and other gossip, and as a stepping-off point for the theories – but I dare say they can be found more succinctly – and transparently – elsewhere. So, I’ll pretty much ignore the book in favour of reporting some websites:-

  1. For Magueijo himself, see:-
    • Wikipedia – Link
    • Imperial College – Link
  2. For John Barrow, see:-
  3. For John Moffat, see:-
    • Wikipedia –Link
    • Personal Site – Link.
  4. For Lee Smolin, see:-
    • Wikipedia – Link
    • Personal Site – Link.
  5. For Stephon Alexander, see http://www.haverford.edu/faculty/salexand
  6. And for Andreas Albrecht, see http://www.haverford.edu/faculty/salexand.
Some of the papers mentioned in the book are available:- The Wikipedia article – Link – on VSL also looks useful, as do the following:-
It will be interesting to see whether there’s any reference to the Hartnett / Carmeli theories (see "Carmeli (Moshe), Hartnett (John G.), Etc - Scientific Papers of Moshe Carmeli, John Hartnett & Others") in all this.
