Author’s Abstract

  1. In the first and briefer part of this essay, my concerns are ontological. I shall explain what a miracle is (or would be if there were any).
  2. In the second part, my concerns are epistemological: I shall discuss and attempt to refute Hume's argument for the conclusion that it is unreasonable to believe any historical report that would count as a report of a miracle.
