In-Page Footnotes ("Sider (Ted) - Persistence and Parthood Seminar")

Footnote 1: This is a while ago. Compare with "Look (Brandon C.) - The Metaphysics of Material Beings: Constitution, Persistence, and Identity", a more pedestrian, but more recent (2008), attempt. Also, "Sider (Ted) & Zimmerman (Dean) - Persistence Seminar", from 2004.

Footnote 2: "Sider (Ted) - Four-dimensionalism: An Ontology of Persistence and Time". I’ve assumed the chapters in the draft are as in the published book.

BOOK COMMENT:
  • This is a Pseudo-book to summarise time spent on a Seminar series.
  • For the actual time recorded, click on the Book Title at the top of the page.

In-Page Footnotes ("Sider (Ted) - Persistence and Parthood Seminar")

Footnote 1: I have replaced Sider’s references by links to whatever I have on these papers. Where there’s no link, I seem not to have the paper in question (and have been unable to find it on-line).

Footnote 2: This is a reference to "Sider (Ted) - Four-dimensionalism: An Ontology of Persistence and Time", which was “under development” in 1998, when this series of seminars was given. I assume the chapter numbering and contents are as subsequently published.

Footnote 6: In my edition, this corresponds to the first few pages of Section 4.2 “Against Overlap” of "Lewis (David) - Counterparts or Double Lives".
