Theo Todman's Bridge Hands
Herewith a few hands for bidding practice; just random hands categorised by a simple algorithm; occasionally I've run for selected hand-types where these are rare. The program can churn out thousands of hands in seconds, but I've left it at a hundred-odd for now.
There are two assumed systems.- The first is Benjaminised Acol - follow this Link for a Convention Card. There's currently no bidding suggested for these hands.
- The second is the Strong Diamond system - follow this Link for a Convention Card. I've made a start on the bidding - the generator supplies the opening bid (hopefully correctly). I'm under no illusions that taking the automated bidding further will be easy, so this is in abeyance. Follow this Link for a PDF file of the full categorised set of hands. Note that it's 154-pages, though you can save trees if you print it double-sided, two-pages per side (legibility is a problem if you try 4 pages / side).
Where the bidding has been completed (manually), the hand is marked "**".
